The MXR Phase 90 is one of the most famous phase shifters ever created and found its way into the rigs of countless guitar legends over the last four decades. Aside from its classic orange casing, the Phase 90 is instantly recognizable thanks to the unmistakable script logo. The '74 Vintage Phase 90 is a re-creation of a Phase 90 purchased in 1974 by Dunlop Senior Engineer Bob Cedro and constructed from a hand-wired board and hand-matched FETs to match the tone of the original. Get classic tone from the '74 Vintage Phase 90.
The MXR Phase 90 set the benchmark for phasers, with its thick and rich tone. Our in-house work horse, purchased in 1974, was meticulously spec'd and recreated as the '74 Vintage Phase 90. The hand-wired board features select resistors paired with handmatched FETs to achieve the same smooth and warm modulation as the original. The '74 Vintage Phase 90 comes housed in the classic orange finished box and is adorned with the unmistakable Script logo.
